What personally identifiable information do we collect?

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail and information volunteered by the User (such as survey information and/or site registrations). When you register for Rhythmos Services we collect the following categories of personally identifiable information: your name, your company’s name, a phone number to reach you, and your business email address. You may have the option to contribute additional information and/or subscribe to join our newsletter list.

How do we collect personally identifiable information?

We get information about you several ways:

Information you give us: In addition to the information, you give us when you sign up for a Rhythmos account, if you have or will pay for our services, we may collect your billing information, including credit card information, banking information, and/or billing address.

Information we get from others: We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as a colleague who has invited you to use our platform. We may add this to information we get from this website. In addition, we may use third-party services, such as Google Analytics, Heap, HotJar or Mixpanel, that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service’s functionality. Information automatically collected: We may collect information about the devices accessing our website, platform, and other services we use. Some examples are type of device, what operating system is used, browser type, browser language, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, location, access times, and information about and your use of our website, our platform, and services.

How do we use the personally identifiable information we collect? And with whom do we share that information?

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and the quality of our platform and services, and is not shared with third parties or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

Some of them may have privacy policies and practices that are considerably different from our privacy policy and practices. Before you provide any personally identifiable information to third parties, you should check their privacy policies and make sure you are comfortable with them.

We do not monitor the use third parties make of your personally identifiable information or impose on them any contractual obligations with regard to such use.

Some of the third parties, e.g. Advertisers or business partners, may use cookies on our site. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies.

Data Storage

Rhythmos uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide storage and related technology required to run our services. Consequently, our third party vendors and hosting partners may have access to your personally identifiable information. Each of these third party vendors has committed to safeguard any personally identifiable information to which it has access. Beyond that, Rhythmos has no control over what such vendors actually do with your personally identifiable information. How long do we retain your personally identifiable information? What are our policies regarding purging such information

We retain your personally identifiable information as long as your account is active. Your account becomes inactive and deleted when 1) we delete your account; or 2) when you make an individual request to delete your account. To make a request to delete your account, email ops@rhythmos.io.

Please note that even after the deletion of your personal information by us, we may be required (by law or otherwise, such as to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, or enforce our Services Agreement) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time) in which case we will comply with Your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete Personal Information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our backup rotation for some time.

Can you delete, correct or make other changes to the personally identifiable information we collect? And if so, what are the procedures you must follow?

Opt-Out Policy

Rhythmos offers Users of its Site and Services a means to opt-out of receiving certain service related communications from us. There may be an option to opt out of newsletters, reports, and promotional emails via the opt-out link included in each email. Otherwise, you can update your communication preferences by emailing ops@rhythmos.io. However, even if you opt-out of receiving such communications, we retain the right to send you service-related communications in our sole discretion.

Children

Rhythmos does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of eighteen. If you are under the age of eighteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website. If you learn that anyone younger than 18 has unlawfully provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

Security Measures

Rhythmos has implemented web-standard SSL security measures to reasonably protect your account information. Rhythmos stores passwords in hashed form and does not maintain any plaintext copy.

Despite such efforts, however, please note that no company, including Rhythmos, can fully eliminate risks or guarantee the security of your personal information; unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of information about you at any time, and we bear no liability for uses or disclosures of personal data or non-personal data arising in connection with the theft thereof. Changes to our privacy policy

Rhythmos may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personally identifiable information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your Rhythmos service primary account holder account or by placing a prominent notice on our site at Rhythmos.com/privacy. It is your responsibility to check this site frequently to make sure you are aware of any changes in our privacy policy.
